Let's Dance

Fijian Dance Moves

I learned two dances while in Fiji, one I nicknamed the walking dance.  In the walking dance, you put your arm around your partner and you walk forward and backwards, sometimes pivoting your feet, but just constantly moving forward and backwards.

The second is the Snake Dance.  The Snake Dance is when you do the “Conga” and follow the dance moves of the leader.

Traditional dances are similar to the rest of the Pacific countries, and fun to watch.
